6. The Grudge 2 (2006)
2006 was a prolific year for Arielle Kebbel as she appeared in several films, including The Grudge 2. Directed by Takashi Shimizu, The Grudge 2 is a sequel to The Grudge (2004), the Japanese horror film Ju-On: The Grudge remake. The film follows a nonlinear narrative that explores the curse that is unleashed when someone’s death is laced with intense rage and sorrow. One of the many adaptations of the Korean folk tale Janghwa Hongryeon Jeon, The Uninvited is a remake of the South Korean horror film A Tale of Two Sisters.
