Wesley Snipes (Officer John Robinson)
Born in Florida on July 31, 1962, Snipes made his acting debut in 1984, appearing in one episode of All My Children. He played his first film roles in the 1986 movies Wildcats and Streets of Gold. A renowned martial artist, Snipes is a household name in the action film genre. Aside from Money Train, his action film collection includes Passenger 57 (1992), Rising Sun (1993), Demolition Man (1993), U.S. Marshals, (1998), and The Art of War (2000).
After his performance with the Money Train cast, Snipes appeared in notable projects, including Blade and its sequels where he played Eric Brooks / Blade, one of the most iconic roles in cinematic history. He also served as a producer in the Blade trilogy. Snipes’ other notable film credits include Undisputed (2002), Unstoppable (2004), The Marksman (2005), The Detonator (2006), The Expendables 3 (2014), Dolemite Is My Name (2019), Coming 2 America (2021), and Back on the Strip (2023).
Woody Harrelson (Officer Charlie Robinson)
Harrelson (full name: Woodrow Tracy Harrelson) is a perfect example of grass to grace. Born to a convicted killer, Harrelson was raised by his mother and his childhood wasn’t a bed of roses. He found his forte in the performing arts in high school and made his acting debut in 1985, appearing as Woody Boyd in 196 episodes of Cheers. He later made his film debut in 1986 Wildcats alongside Snipes.
Money Train is his second project with Snipes and he followed it up with his portrayal of the title role in The People vs. Larry Flynt (1996). He also appeared in The Hunger Games (2012), LBJ (2016), War for the Planet of the Apes, and Fly Me to the Moon (2024). He is part of the cast of Last Breath and Ella McCay scheduled for 2025 release. His stellar performances have earned him award nominations, including one BAFTA Award, seven Primetime Emmy Awards, three Academy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, and seven Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Jennifer Lopez (Officer Grace Santiago)
Also known by her nickname J.Lo, Lopez is an American entertainment powerhouse. Considered one of the most influential in her Latin community, Lopez has built a legacy as an actress, dancer, and singer. She has also ventured into business. J.Lo made her film debut as Myra in My Little Girl (1986) and joined the Money Train cast as Grace Santiago in the early years of her career.
Lopez has since played leading roles in notable projects such as Selena (1997), Anaconda (1997), The Wedding Planner (2001), Enough (2002), Maid in Manhattan (2002), The Mother (2023), and Atlas (2024). Her acting career is far from over as she has more roles in the works. Lopez has been cast to play Judy Robles in Unstoppable and Aurora in Kiss of the Spider Woman. The multitalented entertainer is also active in her music career, selling millions of records worldwide. She dropped her ninth studio album, “This Is Me… Now” on February 16, 2024.
Robert Blake (Captain Donald Patterson)
Blake garnered fame as a child performer in the 1930s. He successfully transitioned into playing adult roles, gaining prominence for his appearance in films and TV shows such as Cold Blood (1967) Baretta (1975-1978), Coast to Coast (1980), and Second-Hand Hearts (1981). After his performance with the Money Train cast, Blake appeared in his final role as the Mystery Man in David Lynch‘s 1997 thriller, Lost Highway. The actor died on March 9, 2023, from heart disease. He was 89.
Chris Cooper (Terry “The Torch” Edwards)
Cooper has nurtured an illustrious career as an American actor since his debut in the late 1970s. After making a name as a stage actor, Cooper made his screen debut in 1987, appearing in the CBS television series The Equalizer and John Sayles‘s independent film, Matewan. Money Train introduced him to more prominent roles.
A year after working with the Money Train cast, he starred in the award-nominated film Lone Star. Other notable credits under his belt include A Time to Kill (1996), The Bourne Identity (2002), Adaptation (2002), Seabiscuit (2003), and The Bourne Supremacy (2004).
