Someone once said a husband and wife could disagree on many things, but one thing they should always agree on is never to give up. Shanda Denyce and her husband, Willie Taylor, have a marriage that would make most people think twice about getting married. Despite the ups and downs, the couple is still together ready to do whatever it takes to raise their three children, including becoming reality stars on LHHH. 1. She is allegedly a thief
One young stylist confessed to being naïve after leaving all her collection with Shanda Denyce. According to the stylist, he bought the shoes, clothes, and purses with his money hoping to make a name for himself through Shanda Denyce, who was appearing on “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.” The stylist trusted Shanda and left the collection with her at her Santa Clarita home to avoid the hustle of carrying the clothes back and forth as he made multiple trips to LA. Unfortunately, he saw Shanda wearing the items while on the show. Shanda allegedly refused to mail them back to the stylist, going as far as blocking his calls and texts.
2. Her husband cheated on her
Some men cannot keep it in their pants, and Shanda’s husband proved to be one of them. He was having an affair with Kyesha Shalina, who he insisted they only exchanged text messages. However, Shalina is not one to keep quiet and exposed the relationship saying that she was even expecting his child the same time that Shanda was pregnant. However, she miscarried after learning that Shanda was also pregnant, but she was not ready to give the man any peace. She brewed a storm in their marriage that made them split up, but they made up.
3. She cheated on her husband
They say what does not kill you will make you stronger, and that is what happened to the marriage of Shanda and Willie after they both were unfaithful. To many couples, being unfaithful is reason enough to walk out on the cheating partner since if they did it once, then they might do it again. Shanda did not mind revealing that she took care of her family by any means necessary, and that meant working as a stripper. She even went back to stripping when her husband had some financial struggles. In 2016, Willie’s mistress, Shalina, went public that he was cheating on Shanda with her. Willie at first denied it but later confessed to Shanda, who asked for some space. They got back together and had a third child last year confirming they were stronger than ever, as Shanda likes to put it. However, they say that giving someone a second chance could only be helping them pull the trigger because they missed the first time. Shanda was shocked to learn that Willie was sending inappropriate messages to a lady named “Kris.” She posted on social media the text messages saying that they never grow up, perhaps realizing that her husband would never stop being unfaithful.

Real-life drama has always been worth a lot of money, and Hollywood knows how to go where the money is. Reality shows such as “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” had its mains cast like Joseline Hernandez being paid as much as $400,000 while Mimi Faust received $100,000. Shanda and her husband were also getting paid handsomely before getting fired due to budget cuts. Between them, the couple was making $1.5 million per season.
8. Her music career
On her Twitter account, Shanda says that music is her everything. She, therefore, joined an R & B group called X’clusive to start her music career. Motherhood came along, forcing Shanda to put her budding career on hold to be there for her children. Still, hoping to make her dream of being a musician come true, she teamed up with Apryl Jones to form another musical group, but it was not successful. Shanda was so determined to be an artist that she even had a YouTube channel called Niyana Music. However, for a channel that she joined in 2011, Shanda has not made any significant strides. Her videos have only accumulated 81,636 views, and she has 425 subscribers.
9. She met her husband as a teenager
Everyone likes a good love story; Shanda and Willie’s began when Shanda was only 16. At the time, she joined X’Clusive, an all-girl R&B group where Willie worked, and they began dating. By 2007, the two had exchanged vows, but the marriage has never been a walk in the park.
10. She likes Janet Jackson
Shanda loves Janet Jackson, maybe because she also is an artist, and she looks up to her. She posted on Instagram a video of her daughter dancing to Janet Jackson’s song.
