About a year after its season 9 finale, 90 Day Fiancé season 10 returned with bigger drama and mostly new couples. The reality television series has been one of TLC’s most successful shows since its inception. 90 Day Fiancé season 10 marks a new milestone for the decade-long running show.
90 Day Fiancé premiered on TLC on January 12, 2014, and had seen several couples walk down the aisle or break up. Season 10 featured seven couples; six new couples and one returning couple from 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. With 90 Day Fiancé season 10 finale on February 23, 2024, here’s everything to know about the season.
Clayton Clark & Analí Vallejos
29-year-old Clayton Clark from Lexington, Kentucky, met 26-year-old Analí Vallejos from Chiclayo, Peru, on a language-learning app. Clayton reached out to Anali after he noticed she had checked his profile. Anali was on the app looking to learn English, while Clayton wanted to learn Spanish. Besides Clayton leaving with his pets, two guinea pigs, and two chihuahuas, his mother, Violet, lives in the closet of his one-bedroom apartment.
Unsurprisingly, after Anali arrived in the United States on her K-1 visa, things began to heat up between her and Violet. Most of the problems Clayton and Anali battled throughout the 90 Day Fiancé season 10 were caused by or related to his mother, Violet. However, Anali also had a secret of her own. Her father wasn’t aware of the real reason she left Peru for the United States or any idea of Clayton. After the drama, their 90 days ended with a wedding. Clayton and Anali got married on August 18, 2023.
Devin Hoofman & Seungdo “Nick” Ham
25-year-old Devin Hoofman from Searcy, Arkansas, met 30-year-old Seungdo “Nick” Ham from Daejeon, South Korea, on a dating app. However, Devin was on a solo trip to Australia at the time, with Nick in the country to work and learn English. The couple connected after meeting and dating for about two years while in Australia. However, Devin became homesick and moved back to Searcy, Arkansas. While they decided to apply for his K-1 visa, Nick had no plans to elope without informing his parents.
Devin visited Nick’s parents in South Korea, seeking their blessings. Although Nick felt out of place in Searcy, Arkansas, after arriving in the United States, Devin’s family did their best to make him feel at home. Their biggest drama was Nick calling Devin “Piggy” because he felt she was “a little chubby.” This did not sit well with Devin’s parents and family. However, considering the love Devin and Nick shared, they were able to move past it and get married. Unsurprisingly, Nick became the season’s villain for his unrelenting body-shaming tendencies.
Ashley Michelle & Manuel
Ashley Michelle and Manuel were among the most dramatic couples on 90 Day Fiancé season 10. 31-year-old Ashley Michelle from Rochester, New York, first met 34-year-old Manuel from Quito, Ecuador, a decade ago while on a field trip to Ecuador. Although they began dating, the long-distance relationship caused them to break up. After Manuel reached out several years later, Ashley traveled back to Ecuador to see him.
Ashley is a witch and tarot card reader, while Manuel is a devout Catholic. Most of their drama centered on Manuel trying to accept Ashley’s occultic practices and spirituality. Manuel had not known she was a witch before coming to the United States. On the other hand, Manuel did not want Ashley to meet his sons and family. Despite their spiritual differences, Ashley and Manuel were married at the end of 90 Day Fiancé season 10.
Nikki Sanders & Igor “Justin” Shutencov
90 Day Fiancé season 10 had its fair share of drama, but none compared to Nikki Sanders and Igor “Justin” Shutencov. Nikki and Justin had dated some 17 years ago before calling it quits. They decided to give love a chance again, with Nikki traveling from Hoboken, New Jersey, to Chişinău, Moldova, to see Justin. Besides trying to make things work, Nikki had begun processing Justin’s K-1 visa. However, earlier in their previous relationship, in a burst of anger, Nikki had revealed to Justin that she used to be a man.
This revelation led to their initial breakup. Although they sought to find love again, their daily quarrels and fights threatened it all. Nikki felt Justin wasn’t pulling his weight as a man and getting a job. On the other hand, Justin felt emasculated and always talked over by Nikki. Although audiences thought at some point during the show’s run that they would work things out, Justin ended the relationship over a text sent to Nikki. At the end of 90 Day Fiancé season 10, Nikki Sanders and Igor “Justin” Shutencov did not get married.
Rob Warne & Sophie Sierra
32-year-old Rob Warne from Inglewood, California, and 23-year-old Sophie Sierra from London, England, met on social media. Sophie, who’s multiracial, was looking for a multiracial man by following an Instagram page. Sophie DMed Rob first, which set the ball rolling. Things heated up after Sophie came to Inglewood, California, to be with Rob. She complained about his studio apartment having no bathroom inside. Rob also implied Sophie was from a wealthy family, which turned out to be false. Despite having a sore throat and initially believing it was her body warning her to call off the wedding, Rob & Sophie had a fairytale beach wedding at the end of 90 Day Fiancé season 10.
Sam Wilson & Citra
Like most other couples this season, 30-year-old Sam Wilson, who’s from Cameron, Missouri, met 26-year-old Citra on a dating app. Citra is Muslim and has been forthcoming about getting her father’s approval and blessing. Luckily for the couple, they were able to get his blessings. However, Sam had to reveal he had an addiction to drugs and run-ins with the law. By the end of 90 Day Fiancé season 10, Sam Wilson & Citra were married with loved ones and family present.
Gino Palazzolo & Jasmine Pineda
True audiences of the 90 Day Fiancé will recognize Gino Palazzolo and Jasmine Pineda from 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. They are the only returning couple in 90 Day Fiancé season 10 and are known for their drama. 90 Day Fiancé season 10 wasn’t any different, as Jasmine finally came to the United States. She wasn’t comfortable with the cold Michigan winter and spent most of her time longing to return to Panama. Like before, their relationship was plagued with quarrels and fighting. Surprisingly, Gino Palazzolo and Jasmine Pineda married in a beachside wedding without inviting Gino’s family.
