The other day we were decorating Christmas cookies and my 6 YO began to describe the colours (eg. watery blue, bright yellow). Anyways, when asking for a particular colour, she would use her descriptive words so she began saying things like, “can you pass the bloody red”. She didn’t know what she was saying really. But should we tell her off for it?

So, my 4 year old girl lost her first tooth yesterday. We spent ages looking for it but just couldn’t find it anywhere! We decided that she must have swallowed it and she began to freak out because the tooth fairy wouldn’t be able to give her money for the tooth. We told her that we would leave a note for the tooth fairy, and we did. As we were tucking her into bed that night she told us that she knew that she had swallowed it because when it fell out she tried to put it back in… and her hand slipped.
