Since its introduction in 2016, the WWE Raw Women’s Championship has been held by some of the modern era’s top stars, including Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch. But, which WWE Superstar is the best Raw Women’s Champion of all time?
Here are the top 10 best WWE Raw Women’s Champions.
10. Rhea Ripley
It’s bad news for anyone who comes face-to-face with the ferocious and terrifyingly powerful Aussie since she already possesses the physical attributes to stand up to any sporting superstar. She has shown no reluctance in asserting her presence in her new environment on Raw. Rhea Ripley has been a champion everywhere she has been, and she won the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania by beating Asuka.
9. Nia Jax
A cousin of “The Great One” The Rock, Nia Jax immediately outclassed every other superstar in terms of raw power. As soon as she arrived on Raw in 2016, the “Irresistible Force” was a force to be reckoned with in WWE, winning her first championship gold at WrestleMania 34 against Alexa Bliss.
8. Bayley
Following a successful stint in NXT, Bayley debuted on the main roster in 2016 and has become both a Grand Slam and Triple Crown Champion. Bayley first won the Raw Women’s Championship by defeating Charlotte Flair on an episode of Raw, accomplishing her childhood dream. Since then, Bayley has continued to have major success in WWE, also becoming a two-time Smackdown Women’s Champion and two-time Women’s Tag Team Champion.
7. Asuka
Also a Grand Slam Champion, “The Empress” Asuka enjoyed a meteoric rise in the WWE, having won the NXT, Raw, and SmackDown Women’s Championships and WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships with Charlotte Flair and Kairi Sane. That’s not all; Asuka also won the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble Match. In the ring, the Empress is still as fearsome as ever, and few can say they were completely prepared for Asuka.
6. Alexa Bliss
A Triple Crown champion and the self-proclaimed “Goddess of WWE,” Alexa Bliss has held the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships for a total of 505 days across her five reigns. She’s also been a member of the WWE women’s tag team champions on two occasions. Bliss has already accomplished more than some divas could hope to. Until now, she is still undoubtedly one of the most popular members of the roster.
5. Bianca Belair
Bianca Belair considers herself to be the EST of the WWE and the new sheriff in town because she is such an outstanding competitor. Belair has spent her entire life as a fantastic athlete, and she says she is the strongest, quickest, toughest, and all-around finest superstar going. At SummerSlam, however, she lost her Raw Women’s Championship to Becky Lynch in a matter of seconds at Summerslam 2021 before regaining it at WrestleMania 38, when she dethroned Big Time Becks in a show-stealing match.
4. Sasha Banks
She has a good reason for being called “The Boss.” During the Women’s Evolution, Sasha Banks, a five-time Raw women’s champion, helped start a new era of competition on the Raw roster. Since then, Banks has made history at every turn. She was in the first-ever women’s WWE Iron Man, Hell in a Cell, Royal Rumble, and Elimination Chamber Matches. She won multiple Raw Women’s Titles and teamed up with Bayley to become the first Champions of the WWE Women’s Tag Team. Sasha has often shown that she is the alpha female in the group.
3. Ronda Rousey
Even before she joined the WWE, Ronda was a formidable force. A 12-0 undefeated streak like hers will never be matched in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s women’s division. When she made her unexpected appearance at the Royal Rumble, she quickly rose to the top of the WWE divas’ ranks, feuding with Becky, Charlotte, and Nia Jax.
2. Charlotte Flair
Along with her iconic lineage and fantastic entrance, Charlotte Flair is one of the great divas we have today. She was the inaugural RAW women’s champion, having won that title a record six times. Flair has never skipped a beat since her arrival on the main roster and is still a threat to all divas who dare challenge her. Along with Sasha Banks, she made history by being the first woman ever to headline a WWE pay-per-view event. It was the first time that a women’s match served as the main event of WWE’s marquee event when it took place at WrestleMania 35 in 2019. It included Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey, and Charlotte Flair.
1. Becky Lynch
One of the most well-known and well-compensated wrestlers in the WWE is Becky Lynch. As one of her generation’s most popular and recognizable wrestlers, Lynch is well-known and loved. Becky has the record for the longest reign as Raw Women’s Champion, having held the belt for 398 days. She was the first SmackDown Women’s Champion. In addition to being the first woman to lead WWE’s premier annual event, Lynch became the first woman to win a WrestleMania main event match at WrestleMania 35. She is THE MAN, indeed.
