Whatever Happened to the Cast of “Heroes Reborn?”

The creator of the original Heroes series was responsible for Heroes Reborn and unfortunately, while he probably had a plan set into motion for the series, it didn’t go off as planned. The 13-episode miniseries that came about was met without the fanfare and hype of the original show and was never rewarded with a second season, dying off after the initial run thanks to too many special effects and a story line that was deemed as less than challenging. It’s too bad since the original Heroes kind of set the pace and could have spawned something great had the direction been adjusted just enough to allow for a continual state of evolution rather than a sudden drop from a moderately-sized cliff, so to speak. Whatever disconnect happened in between Heroes and Heroes Reborn was enough to send it packing as the cast had to go on and find new roles as their careers continued to move onward.

So here’s what happened to the cast.

Gatlin Green – Emily Duvall

Gatlin has been pushing forward with her film and TV career at this point and is still busy as she’s been featured in a few shows and has also formed a singing group with her brother. While she’s still gaining in the fame department it’s a moderate climb that has netted her a few fans and is still something worth pursuing. After all everyone gets a few roles in their lives that don’t pan out. Those that treat them as experiences to learn from usually end up doing quite well.

Judi Shekoni – Joanne Collins

Whatever Happened to the Cast of “Heroes Reborn?”

It would almost seem that Judi is taking a break from the spotlight since she hasn’t been seen in anything for a couple of years. Her career is pretty solid though since she’s appeared in a few big-name movies and has had guest roles on shows that are known to many people. It seems to happen however that actors will take breaks from time to time if they feel the need, which is kind of nice to see really.

Kiki Sukezane – Miki Otomo

It’s fair to say that the failure of Heroes Reborn didn’t really affect everyone all that badly. In Kiki’s case this is pretty obvious since she’s been tearing it up ever since. She’s even managed to show up in popular shows such as Lost in Space and Westworld, which are two big roles that are nothing to sneeze at. In truth she’s one of those actors that you might figure on seeing more of since she’s fairly intense and is able to show that quality quite easily. If given the right part she can wow the audience so long as she’s given the kind of dialogue that doesn’t sound too incredibly cheesy.

Robby Kay – Tommy Clark

Robby has definitely got a lot going for him when it comes to his acting as he’s managed to land some impressive roles aside from Heroes Reborn. If he looks familiar then you might have seen him in Once Upon A Time where he got to play none other than Peter Pan, who is quite evil in the show to be honest and is anything but the carefree young man that the legends paint him out to be. Yet for all that he’s been able to show up in other films and shows and showcase the kind of talent that got him where he is now in a very big way.

Ryan Guzman – Carlos Gutierrez

It’s impressive to see that one show tanking doesn’t stop a lot of people since for others it might mean a sudden dip in their career. But Ryan has been going strong ever since, showing the kind of resilience that is needed and deemed as impressive when it comes to landing roles and keeping them for an extended period of time. This goes to show that while some programs aren’t deemed as being that good the actors aren’t usually the problem.

Jack Coleman – Noah Bennett

It kind of feels like Noah should have been left out of the Reborn appearance largely because he’d played such a huge role in the show to begin with and should have been given a guest star role at best, or perhaps a cameo. But as much as the first season was his place to shine, the Reborn episodes were anything but. In fact it almost feels as though Heroes Reborn was an ill-conceived way to keep things going in a vein that had dried up already and needed to be left alone.

Zachary Levi – Luke Collins

Zachary has been on fire for a while with his career and is in no danger of dropping out anytime soon due to one disastrous show. He’s been an extremely popular character in movies and in TV and at this time he might not be the biggest thing in Hollywood but he’s certainly someone that people still look up to.

Heroes Reborn could have been a lot better if the creator would have waited a few more years.
