Ryan Gosling as Colt Seavers
Three-time Academy Award-nominated Canadian actor Ryan Gosling leads The Fall Guy cast, portraying the iconic character of Colt Seavers. The character is a veteran stuntman who decides to hang his boots after a near-death experience while on set. However, he’s dragged right back in when executive producer Gail Meyer asks him to help find her movie’s missing star.
Colt Seavers’ motivation to return is to reconnect with his ex-girlfriend, Jody Moreno, who’s also the director of Gail Meyer’s film. However, he soon discovers the job isn’t as easy as he thought, as he gets dragged into a more sinister conspiracy than he ever could imagine. With several Box Office hits, Ryan Gosling needs no introduction to true movie fans. His last notable project on the big screen was portraying Ken in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie.
Emily Blunt as Jody Moreno
Academy Award-nominated British actress Emily Blunt joins The Fall Guy cast as its female lead, Jody Moreno. Blunt plays Ryan Gosling’s ex-girlfriend and love interest. She’s the director of Gail Meyer’s big-budget movie Metalstorm. Jody faces a big problem when her star actor, Tom Ryder, goes missing. Although not initially thrilled to see Colt Seavers, she warms up to him as he helps find her missing star. Emily Blunt joins The Fall Guy cast after a successful year playing Katherine “Kitty” Oppenheimer on Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer (2023). Blunt is also known for her roles in her breakout role The Devil Wears Prada (2006), Edge of Tomorrow (2014), The Quiet Place and its sequel, and several other Box Office hits.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Tom Ryder
English actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays the egotistical Hollywood star Tom Ryder. As the A-list actor in Hollywood, Tom Ryder believes his own hype as the most bankable actor. He’s the least friendly on set and would go out of his way to belittle anyone, including his stuntmen. As the lead star of the Jody Moreno-directed Metalstorm movie, there’s absolute chaos when he suddenly goes missing. Aaron Taylor-Johnson began his career as a child actor. His acting credits have been reflective of his growth as an actor. Aaron Taylor-Johnson is known for his roles in Kick-Ass films, Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Tenet (2020), and Bullet Train (2022).
Winston Duke as Dan Tucker
Tobagonian-Rwandan actor Winston Duke also joins The Fall Guy cast in a supporting role. Duke is cast as Dan Tucker, Colt Seavers stunt coordinator in the Metalstorm movie and close friend. With an impressive movie credit, Winston Duke needs little to no introduction to movie fans. Making his film debut as M’Baku in the MCU movie Black Panther, Winston Duke has starred in several other iconic movies. His other notable roles include Us (2019) and Nine Days (2020).
Hannah Waddingham as Gail Meyer
Big Hollywood producer Gail Meyer is focused on making the best movie ever. Hate or love her, it’s her responsibility to ensure production moves on accordingly. When her big movie star goes missing, Gail Meyer goes overboard to hire Colt Seavers to find him. British actress, singer, and TV presenter Hannah Waddingham does justice to the character of Gail Meyer. Hannah Waddingham is known for her roles in film and television. She played Septa Unella in Game of Thrones (2015–2016), Sofía Marchetti in Sex Education (2019–2023), and Rebecca Welton in Ted Lasso (2020–2023). Her last project on the big screen was playing Mother Witch in the sequel movie Hocus Pocus 2 episodes (2022).
Other The Fall Guy cast members include American actress Stephanie Hsu, who’s billed to play Tom Ryder’s assistant Alma Milan. Stephanie Hsu is known for her roles in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2019–2023), Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021), and Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022). Australian actress Teresa Palmer is cast as Iggy Starr, a co-star in the Metalstorm movie. Veteran American actor Lee Majors will also make a cameo in The Fall Guy.
