If you think that Rob Gronkowski’s appearance at Wrestlemania would be his last time getting into the ring or being involved with the WWE during what’s been another history offseason for the Patriots tight-end you’d be very mistaken. Looks like Jinder Mahal couldn’t let Wrestlemania 33 go as he was form tackled by Gronkowski that drove the fans wild. Gronk made an appearance on WWE Smackdown last night.
While the big fella was only a spectator in the front row, it didn’t take long for he and Mahal to get into a war of words. According to TMZ
Rob Gronkowski got some pretty sweet beer revenge on WWE superstar Jinder Mahal Tuesday night … throwing some sudsy goodness right in Jinder’s face during “SmackDown Live.” Remember, Mahal is the guy who doused Gronk in beer during WrestleMania … leading to the NFL star’s violent 3-point stance takedown. But Gronk wasn’t finished with Mahal … and last night, sat ringside in Boston as Jinder took on his BFF, Mojo Rawley Gronk’s becoming a perfect fit for the WWE … makes you wonder if he’ll trade the shoulder pads for a Speedo when he retires from the NFL.
I have no doubt in my mind that Gronk will somehow be involved with the WWE post NFL. To what extent we obviously don’t know.
