Postcards from Mars project started when I came to Lisbon in 2016 as a PhD student in Arts. Surrounded by people from so many countries I learned words that were unique, untranslatable yet so well describing different aspects of life. I decided to illustrate them with watercolors in a small postcard size – easy to take everywhere you go, even to Mars. All postcards are drawn and colored on paper – no digital work added.
