Alright, I admit it. I’m getting a little curious about The Predator reboot. At first I was pretty hesitant (and still am) but a new iteration of the classic John McTiernan film starring Arnold isn’t so far out of reach from my psyche. It’s just hard for me to accept the Predator doing damage outside of a jungle (let alone Space and Metropolitan areas). But apparently Shane Black is going for the suburbia thing this time around.
Black (Sherlock Holmes, Iron Man 3) shared a full cast-photo to announce the beginning of production, and it appears he’ll keep sharing with fans throughout the entire process. The image features six characters – all men – sitting in an old bus. Three of the characters pictured were featured in the original photo that Black released, but the other three are new. One of the best additions to this poster is Thomas Jane who was only rumored to be in the film. These are obviously no longer rumors.
Looks the Predator is going to have his hands full.
The Predator is directed by Shane Black and written by Fred Dekker. The film stars Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, Thomas Jane, Jacob Tremblay, and Sterling K. Brown.
Stone killers with serious acting chops — but which of them will be chopped… by THE PREDATOR? (See what I did there?) pic.twitter.com/H5lOw2K5vy
