The latest creation from the entertainment juggernaut Tyler Perry is The Oval, a drama series revolving around the White House’s first interracial family, the Franklins. Despite their seemingly perfect public image, behind closed doors, the first family is a mess of lies, corruption and power struggles… so just your average American family, then. Talking about the new show, Perry says, “I have been hard at work on ‘The Oval’ and cannot wait to share this story with audiences.” “I have set out to create a show that tells the story of a family placed in the White House by people of power while also highlighting the personal side and everyday lives of the staff who run the inner workings of the nation’s most iconic residence.” With a premise like that, it looks all set to be our new favorite show. Find out who you can expect to see with our rundown of the cast.
