If there’s one character in the career of Josh Brolin that people always seem to forget is actually Josh Brolin, it’s his role as big brother Brand. It’s hard imagining Josh Brolin as a teen actor given the vast success he’s been having for the past decade. It’s almost as if Brolin’s had two careers. However, if there’s one thing Brolin has embraced each year he ages, it’s not only humility but also a great sense of humor.
From going back and forth with Ryan Reynolds on social media to laughing it up in interviews, the less serious Brolin takes his job the more I’m starting to like him. Recently Brolin was invited to attend a friend’s ’80s-themed birthday party, but he didn’t know what costume to wear. Thankfully, his wife stepped in with the perfect suggestion–Brand from The Goonies.
Looks like he’s still got it. And by the way, don’t think I forgot about the fact that Brolin’s been accused of physically assaulting Diane Lane numerous times. Just wanted to remind you all that actors aren’t always what they appear to be. Carry on.
