We’re only a few days away from the official premiere of Ghost in the Shell. At this point I think I’ve seen everything I can possibly see. From as recently seeing the first five minutes of the movie, to learning about Scarlett Johansson’s robotic suit in the film, I think we’ve gotten an excellent sense of what to expect. Personally I think the film will be a success but that’s based on me watching the first five minutes of the movie.
Here’s the thing. It’s tough to dethrone Scarlett Johansson as the action queen of today. We’ll see if Gal Gadot has the chops to at least compete with her but who else is there? Charlize Theron? I mean she’s OK but ScarJo has been doing this year after year after year and Ghost in the Shell is shaping up to be one of her best action roles yet. Maybe I’m biased? I don’t know.
What I do know is that we’re going to see a nice bump in Ghost in the Shell hype this week and it all starts here. Check out the newly released final trailer below:
