General Hospital fans are not surprised that there was so much left to say and do after the week we had last week, but Monday was a shocking day for so many. For one, Chase had to go interrupt a family gathering to share some news, ask for more information, and make things known that might just make people feel a little bit unhappy. We did see him get a lead on things last week, and that’s not something he knows how to deal with in a delicate manner. It’s too much for him, and that’s all right with us. It is his situation, and we are not going to question his authority or his ability to do his own job. It’s not who we are or what we want to do right now. He has a chance to make things right, and we get that. He’s a man of many words and many situations, and we get that.
Additionally, we do get to see that Finn is going to see some big news happen right in front of his face. The test results he’s been looking at have given him some information he didn’t even know what possible to deal with. He’s not sure how to handle that. What to make of that. What to do with that. He’s shocked, and he’s not in a good place. He’s having a moment, and it’s a thing he might not be able to deal with. Meanwhile, Nina is not out of the woods yet with the news she’s getting and the things she is handling. She’s about to get a text message from someone that might just shock her. She is not expecting the news she is about to get, either, which makes this so much worse for her.

It turns out that things are taking a long road for some people, including Jason. He’s got to play dumb right now, and we think he knows that it’s his situation that requires him to pretend he is not sure what is going on in a few manners of speaking. He cannot admit that he knows the truth about things that are going on in the lives of so many, but he is not going to sit back and allow things to unfold in a way that is detrimental to himself, his family, or Sam. He is going to plead ignorance about many of the things being thrown at him right now, but we don’t know if the people he’s pleading ignorance to will believe anything he has to say. It might not go well for him, but we cannot say that we have anything but respect for what he’s up to. He’s usually right on par, so that means we think he’s doing the right thing.
Meanwhile, we also know that Scott is more than a little bit worried about Franco, and why wouldn’t he be? Franco is long gone. He’s got Drew’s old memories now, and we cannot say that it seems to us like Drew was a very nice, very good person. He seems, if we are being honest, like a very terrifying human who was doing some awful things. We are positive that Drew does not need to get these memories back for himself at any point in time. He needs to let that go, move on, and he needs to find himself a new life and make some new memories.
