The bar for asking people to prom has skyrocketed in recent years. Just the other day we featured a video of a guy skydiving to ask his girl to prom. Yes, the guy literally risked his life to create a video of him asking a girl to prom. In addition to people doing insane things to ask the people they desire to go to prom, we’ve also seen a heavy increase in high school kids mustering up the courage to ask their favorite celebrities to their proms.
On occasion celebrities will even say yes if the invitation is good enough. Most recently someone decided they’d take a shot at Oscar winner Emma Stone. He knew he had to impress her so in order to get her attention he recreated the movie La La Land. Here’s the video:

Although his video has over 13,000 likes and has been retweeted more than 6,000 times, even by some celebrities, Staudenmaier has not heard back from Stone yet. “I haven’t heard anything specifically from her,” he said. “I’ve heard a rumor and sort of a confirmed truth that her mom has seen it. I assume at some point it will get to her.”
However, he has a plan B in case the actress does not respond to his epic proposal. “I have this girl that I know that says she’d love to go,” he said. “Even if Emma says yes she said she would be completely fine with that.”
