Tell me right now that this wouldn’t make an awesome cabinet in the White House. I’m being 100% dead serious right now. Jon Stewart as President. Stephen Colbert as Vice President. Samantha Bee handles Secretary of State Duties. John Oliver is 100% the press secretary. Ed Helms and Rob Corddry? Not 100% sure but come on. This would be a dynamic and incredible team in politics.
While we dream of that someday happening it was nice to see the old band get back together last night on The Late Show. In what was dubbed “The Reunion” the former Daily Show team all sat down on a couch and reminisced about the good old days. You know a group is amazing when you can just sit and watch them talk about anything and be totally entertained. That was the feeling I got while watching these clips.
You could just sense how much fun they must have had over at Comedy Central together. And the great thing is that each one of them seems happy, successful, and at peace today. Like I said, we need this team in the White House.
