Aya Cash comes from a line of sports professionals and enthusiasts. Her maternal grandmother was American professional tennis player Pauline Betz. Betz was a five-time Grand Slam winner (single titles). Cash’s maternal grandfather was Robert Addie. Addie was known as an accomplished sportswriter and worked for The Washington Post and Washington Times-Herald. He was also the ex-husband of Pauline Betz.

Aya Cash made her film debut in 2008 in John-Luke Montias’ crime thriller drama Off Jackson Avenue. In 2008, Cash played Secretary #2 in the erotic thriller, Deception. Aya Cash is married to writer, actor, and producer Josh Alexander. The couple met when Cash was working as a waitress. The couple wedded on September 8, 2012, after dating for seven years.
