Moisés Arias Became a Regular On the Disney Channel In 2006
While his debut acting role was in one episode of Chris Rock‘s semi-autobiographical sitcom Everybody Hates Chris, Arias was propelled to fame when he joined the Disney Channel in 2006. His first Disney project was a voice role as Marcus in one episode of The Emperor’s New School, the second sequel to Disney’s 2000 film The Emperor’s New Groove. Subsequently, Arias earned his spot among other network stars and played Randall in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody the same year.
Perhaps his most notable role so far, Moisés Arias portrayed Rico Suave in the Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana from 2006 to 2011. He joined the cast at age 10 in a recurring role in season 1 before switching to the main cast from seasons 2 to 4. Arias appeared on Hannah Montana until he was around 16, appearing in 70 episodes of the teen sitcom altogether. Arias was a contestant on the first and second Disney Channel Games as part of the red team and joined the yellow team for the third one.
His stint in the Disney Channel Games lasted from 2006 to 2008. In 2009, Arias played André in the Disney Channel television film Dadnapped. He also made guest appearances in Wizards of Waverly Place as Max’s conscience and Phineas and Ferb as Fred’s voice. Arias has continued to prove his career transcends his Disney Channel days. While his television credits mostly stem from his Disney Channel stint, Moisés Arias has moved on to other projects on the small screen. In his last year on the Hannah Montana cast, Arias made a guest appearance on Love Bites as Jeff. He Landed recurring roles as Matt in The Middle season 3 in 2012 and as Luis in Jean-Claude Van Johnson in 2017. Arias appeared in one episode of The Good Doctor in 2019 as Luca Jones. He currently plays Norm MacLean on Fallout.

Moisés Arias debuted on the silver screen in 2006 when he played Juan Pablo in Nacho Libre. His early film credits include Beethoven’s Big Break as Billy, The Perfect Game as Mario Ontiveros, and Astro Boy as Zane. In 2012, Arias appeared in three films, including The Secret World of Arrietty and We the Party. He lent his voice to Antonio Perez in Despicable Me 2 (2013) and appeared in Gavin Hood‘s Ender’s Game the same year.
