The 20 Greatest Doctor Who Companions of All Time

Donna

Donna Noble was just a temp worker from London before she met the Tenth Doctor, and her world was turned upside down. She first appeared in Doctor Who in the 2006 series finale (“Doomsday”), as a bride who has been instantaneously transported aboard the TARDIS, due to some sort of quantum effect involving Huon particles. Although she was initially scared of the Doctor, she soon begins to crave the unusual, becoming quite bored of her ordinary life. She tries to find him, and decides to accompany him on his adventures at the next opportunity. Donna Noble stands out from the Tenth Doctor’s other companions because she never harbored romantic feelings for him. This makes her really stand out as one of the best companions that David Tennant’s Doctor had during his run. Unfortunately, her run on the series came to a tragic end. Though she ended up saving the universe in the series 4 finale, she did so at the cost of all of her memories of adventures in the TARDIS.
