Draymond Green is a man with a big reputation – to borrow a line from Taylor Swift’s Reputation album. He’s an NBA phenomenon. He plays for the Golden State Warriors alongside other NBA phenoms such as Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. They are what you might refer to as the modern-day dream team – something that was said in the early 90s of the Olympic Team comprised of people such as Michael Jordan. These three are a force with which to be reckoned. They are dynamite on the court, and Draymond Green has made a massive name for himself in the game. However, it’s currently his personal life that fans are curious about. The NBA superstar recently got married, and we want to know who Draymond Green’s wife is.

Draymond Green’s Wife Became Family in 2022

Draymond Green lived a life before he married his wife. Born on March 4, 1990, he’s only 32 as of 2022, and he’s lived quite a life. Before dating his wife – Hazel Renee – he was in a relationship with another woman. Her name is Jessica Hardy, and she is also the mother of Draymond Green’s first and oldest son. They were together for a while but ultimately did not work out. The NBA player began dating Hazel Renee in 2018. By 2019, they were engaged. In 2020, they welcomed their first daughter. They wed in August 2022.

Who is Draymond Green’s Wife?

Hazel Renee is an actress. She began her career as an actress in 2013. Her first role was as a cast member in something called a webisode. Its title is “The Marriage Tour,” where she first got her feet into the acting pool. Following that, her most significant break came in 2017. She was cast as a recurring character in the hit show “Empire,” and fans loved her immediately. She did well in the role.

She’s a Reality Television Star

Perhaps Draymond Green’s wife’s name is familiar because you’ve seen her on your favorite reality shows. She was well-known as a friend of the Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss. She spent some time making appearances on the show alongside her good friend, and fans got to know her there. But, of course, she’s also part of the Basketball Wives Show. She has a long history with NBA players, so we could assume she has a type. She was previously linked to Jacob Pullen. Together, she and the NBA player welcomed a daughter before her relationship with Draymond Green.

She’s a Mother of Two

Hazel Renee is the birth mother of two kids. She has two daughters. Her first, Olive, was born when she was dating her ex. Her second was born in 2020. She is also a proud stepmother to her husband’s son from his previous relationship. As a family of five, they spend as much time together as his athletic schedule allows, which is not that often during basketball season. However, they make it work as well as they can.

Draymond Green’s Wife is Older

Don’t take that the wrong way. She’s not old. She’s simply a little older than her husband. Hazel Renee is also in her 30s. She was born on March 31, 1986, which makes her 36 as of 2022. She was born in the Midwest. She hails from a little town in Kansas named Fort Riley. Hazel Renee is her stage name, but it’s only a portion of her birth name. Her surname is Joiner, so she was born Hazel Renee Joiner. We like the stage name she uses, though.

What’s interesting about Hazel Renee, though, is that she is not someone who is constantly posting on social media. She got married almost a month ago, and she’s not sharing one photo of her big day. She didn’t allude to it on her social media page. Instead, she shares many photos with captions about being behind or late, so she may eventually share her photos. Or, she may choose to keep that big day to herself, and who could blame her?

What we Know About The Wedding

Not much, to be honest. We know this couple married at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego and that it was a celebrity event. Of course, many of his teammates were there to support him. Additionally, even Lebron James was there. If you did not know, Hazel also attended Michigan State University – just not at the same time as her husband – and spent a great deal of time in Michigan. On that note, the honorable Judge Greg Mathis is her Godfather – and he was there, too. Mathis was the officiant. This is all we know, but we imagine this was a luxury affair, the bride was stunning, and the groom was handsome.
