With the 2022 introduction of the Real Housewives of Dubai, the world got to know a group of exciting, dramatic, powerful new women, and it’s not been disappointing. However, one of those women is not new to the reality show industry. She’s been on reality television before, and now we want to know just how Caroline Stanbury is and why we already know her. This comes as she shares the news that she, already a mother of three, is working on welcoming a fourth baby into the world with her new husband. If you thought Caroline Stanbury was familiar, you were not mistaken. She’s been on reality television before. The Real Housewives of Dubai is her second venture into reality television. She was one of the original cast members of the hit show Ladies of London. The show premiered in 2014. She was on the show all three seasons until it was canceled in 2017. Though the show never reached Housewives fame, she learned a thing or two about being on reality television, and she learned a thing or two about life.

When we think of Caroline Stanbury, we think of her Dubai Housewives life and her Ladies of London Life. Her Ladies of London life was much different. For one, she lived and worked in London with her first husband, Cem Habib. These two met in 2002. They got married in 2004 and welcomed three beautiful kids (they have a daughter and twin sons). Their life was new to the world, and they lived it the best way they knew. She did her thing while her husband worked. He’s a financier, and she was working as a designer of a shoe line and a former luxury boutique owner.
She and her husband lived and worked in London, where she’d lived her entire life before he was offered an excellent job in Dubai. The family packed their bags and left London in 2016. They relocated to Dubai, and everything seemed to be going well for the family. We didn’t see much of her after that, though. The reality show was canceled in 2017, she was living in Dubai, and her family was thriving.

The News that Shocked the World
Regular Friday night date nights, a busy schedule, a new home in a foreign country, and a lot of beautiful Christmas photos of the family together were what we saw from her. It was a complete shock when, right after Christmas, Caroline Stanbury and her husband announced their 2019 divorce. The world was shocked, sure that something tragic had happened to end their 17-year marriage. However, Stanbury was quick to tell the world that they simply grew apart. Her husband wanted a quiet life, and she did not. She wanted more exciting things in life, and he was not ready to give up being quiet and maintaining his privacy. They divorced, but they do remain wonderful friends and co-parents. It’s an amicable divorce in every sense of the word.
Caroline Stanbury and Her Real Housewives of Dubai Life
When it was announced in 2022 that Caroline Stanbury would join the first season of the Real Housewives of Dubai, many were shocked at how different her life looked. She was remarried, raising her kids, and living her life. She married a Spanish football player named Sergio Carrillo in 2021. They live in Dubai but could not get married there because the United Arab Emirates does not recognize interfaith marriages.

What Was Caroline Stanbury’s Childhood Like?
Caroline Stanbury has always been fabulously wealthy. Her parents and family own a company called Vestey Holdings. It’s a massive company in the food industry. She spent her childhood attending the best schools, living as a debutante, and living a socialite life. She met her first husband when she was in her 20s. They married and had three kids, and she continued to live her life of wealth and privilege. It’s all she knows, but she is quick to the point with her self-deprecating humor. These days, she’s hosting a podcast about being a divorced mother of three with her new husband – who, for the record, is nearly two decades younger than his beautiful wife. She’s living her best life now and enjoying every moment.
