To End Victim Blaming, Artist Draws Illustrations Explaining Why It’s Wrong

Victim blaming is a dangerous logical fallacy in which the victims are blamed for the actions of the people bullying or abusing. Katarzyna Babis, an art student in Poland, decided to tackle this issue with simple comics that illustrate the problems with different forms of victim blaming.

“Lots of my friends experience such situations in their [lives] and I wanted to help them,” Babis told MTV. “I wanted to turn my social media popularity into something meaningful. I think it’s really, really important to know you’re not alone with your problem.”
