Since its official release on Prime Video on October 6, 2023, Totally Killer has enjoyed positive reviews from critics and audiences. While its story may not feel original, given the genre it is based on, its plot would undoubtedly keep audiences glued to the end. Directed by Nahnatchka Khan, Totally Killer is a black comedy slasher film that features and takes jabs at slasher tropes.
Although several scenes may seem predictable, viewers can expect amusing one-liners throughout the movie’s runtime. Totally Killer is set in the small town of Vernon. After the town’s Sweet 16 Killer resurfaces after 35 years, a young teen, Jamie Hughes, takes on the mission to travel back in time to stop the killer’s original kills.
