There you have it. Of course, you might have your own ideas about some of the shows that aired on this network during this particular decade. Perhaps there are shows on this list that you wouldn’t necessarily think earned a place there and perhaps there are shows that don’t appear on the list that you think should be right at the top. One of the most beautiful things about any form of entertainment or art is that it is subjective, giving each individual a chance to decide for themselves what works and what doesn’t. The only thing that is ever certain is that some people will love a particular television show or other work of art and others simply have a hard time connecting with it. This is simply human nature, as everybody has their own tastes, their own likes and dislikes.
The truth is, every one of the television shows listed here had high points and low points. This is the case with most television shows. Some of the episodes were absolutely stunning in their ability to capture the attention of the audience and at other times, it was hard to stay focused for more than a few minutes. However, when you look at the entire body of work for each of the television programs listed here, you can start to see how something about a particular show influenced many of the programs that are running today or how they changed things in society as a whole. That is perhaps the most moving thing about the Arts, of which television is a part of. There are times when it is capable of moving you in ways that you never even thought possible. Sometimes, it is even possible for you to change the way you think about something in your day-to-day life.
