Tom Cruise has finally joined Instagram and is already posting pictures that might give away a lot more than the director or producers wanted of the next Mission Impossible film that’s due out this year. Fallout is the apparent title and from the pictures he’s posted there’s already good reason to believe it’s going to be just another walk in the park for Ethan Hunt. There are a few predictions that might come true regarding Tom Cruise and Instagram now that he’s finally decided to join, though time will tell just what will happen and if he’ll be able to keep from spilling the beans on any flick he happens to be shooting at the time.
Here are just a few random predictions.
5. He’ll be showing scenes of new Mission: Impossible movies up until he retires.
At some point Ethan Hunt has to retire right? Tom Cruise might be defying death and Father Time at the moment but no one gets to laugh at both of them for that long. The chances are good that if Mission Impossible does keep making movies he’ll be there right up until the last of them, and we’ll get to see shots from the sets and the movies themselves. That might be cool so long as he’s legally allowed to show them.
4. He’ll start finding a way to bring Scientology to Instagram in a way that only he can.
This is kind of a far flung prediction that takes more from the days in which he was on Oprah laughing like a loon and trying to tel anyone that would listen about Scientology and its many virtues. It’s possible that he might create a forum, but the chances are fairly low I would think and the idea that he might go into manic mode again seems like something that might be less than likely as he gets older.
3. You’ll be seeing a lot more of him on Instagram.
For all we know he’ll love the app after a while and take to it like a fish to water. He’s not much of a grandstander on social media it seems like, but given that he’s just now picked up Instagram things could change I suppose.
2. He’ll forget he has the app and never use it.
This is also possible. A big star like Tom Cruise is always on the go it seems and might not have time to shoot a picture out to the public at all times. It might be that he’ll remember it now and a month later but he very well might forget about it later on down the road. It’s a slim chance but it could happen.
1. He’ll use the app for a little while and then get rid of it.
Some celebs get on social media for a while and then find out that it’s just not their thing. It could be that they don’t like how they’re being represented, or it could be that they don’t want to read the comments or respond to fans or whatever it might be. There’s a chance he could also figure it’s just too much work to keep up with it, which would be sensible.
We’ll just have to wait and see.
