Despite most of these shows being off the air for years, there’s something about their theme songs that have ingrained themselves into our heads ever since. Maybe it’s because they’re short and we can simply remember them easily. Maybe it’s because we heard them dozens or hundreds of times, and they’ll simply be living in our brains for eternity. I do notice that older shows seem to have more catchy themes than new ones, though I would put something like the Game of Thrones in this category from the modern era.
