Olivia Caridi might be a news broadcaster for good reason. It turns out that The Bachelor contestant sent home from paradise after telling Ben Higgins she loves him is not a fan favorite. The women in the Bachelor mansion don’t love her all that much, and perhaps a few of her remarks came across as slightly off-color and potentially off-putting. Either way, though, she’s coming back. The news reporter turned reality star makes an appearance at The Women Tell All special and we know she’s going to face a figurative firing squad when it comes to the women she offended now that they’ve all seen her private camera conversations. With that to look forward to, we thought it might be time to find something positive to say about the reporter.
Her toes are better than you think
Olivia Caridi faced some of the meanest comments this season about something that’s not particular pretty to begin with; her toes. Fortunately, they did something that she can’t hate. They got her to and from class every single day when she attended Texas Christian University and graduated Cum Laude. That’s an achievement.
She’s articulate
She might not have had many flattering words to say about her housemates on reality television as they fought over Ben Higgins, but at least she was articulate in her comments. The women might not like her much, but she didn’t get two promotions at a news station in as many months with being articulate.
Her breath doesn’t matter in the news
When she’s sitting at the anchor desk every weekend reading the latest news to her viewers, no one cares if she suffers from halitosis. It seems that the women in the house might have let on that Olivia Caridi has awful personal hygiene when it comes to her breath, and Bachelor Ben didn’t really help her out at all when he fed her mints and then refused to comment when asked. At the desk, though, it doesn’t matter.
She’s not looking for approval
If there is one thing we’ve learned from Olivia Caridi since she made no friends on national television, it’s that she straight up does not care. She is who she is and she owns the fact that she said some things she shouldn’t have said, and did some things she shouldn’t have done. She owns it and she’s learning form it.
She’s stronger than ever
She’s had the most amazingly crazy few months of her life to date, and she’s stronger than ever. Every hate message, mean word and unkind thing that someone says to her, about her or in her direction is just one more instant in which she becomes stronger than ever. It’s not easy to be the villain of the year, but she will come out of it on the other side a much better person; and we are glad for that.
