Demetriou began her acting career appearing on British sketch comedy series. Her first screen performance was in various roles on the sketch series Dr. Brown. In 2012, Demetriou played Linda in three episodes of Live at the Electric, a BBC Three comedy series hosted by Russell Kane. She also appeared in the network’s sitcom BBC Comedy Feeds from 2014 to 2015 and made a guest appearance on Badults.
