Louis C.K. continued the promotion of his new standup comedy special on Netflix by stopping by The Late Show to talk with Stephen Colbert. It was only one night ago that he was on The Tonight Show. For the second appearance in a row C.K. was wearing a suit. I just wanted to add that in for no reason. P.S. does anyone remember the running theme on the show Louis when he was in serious contention to host The Late Show after Letterman was gone? That was a weird series of episodes wasn’t it?
I find it peculiar that he’s now made 2 appearances in a row on late shows. I will never say anything negative about Louis C.K. in that he’s my favorite stand up comedian out there, but judging by his new special and his latest interviews, even I have to admit the man’s getting darker as he gets older and the prospect of him hosting a late night show is becoming very foreign to me. Not that he’d ever even do it, but man, it would be kind of depressing.
In any event, Louis C.K. admits that he once thought Stephen Colbert was an alien and he also talks about the time he compared Donald Trump to Hitler. While C.K. regrets what he said about Trump he certainly doesn’t take it back.
