Kristen Stewart to Make her SNL Hosting Debut

It feels like it’s been a while since we’ve seen or heard from Kristen Stewart.  And rightfully so.  The only movie that’s on her credit list for 2017 is Lizzie which is in post production.  The other film of hers, Personal Shopper is slated to be released on March 2nd.  The young actress seems to have taken a bit of a breather from Hollywood.  Still though, she’s very well in the public eye with her various relationships as well as fashion influence.   In fact she took place in the women’s march yesterday.  Stewart will be making her return to the spotlight in February in her much awaited debut on Saturday Night Live.

Stewart’s not really known as much of a comedic actress though she’s certainly shown that she’s got a sense of humor over the years.   It’s hard to imagine what the skits are going to be like but we’d have to imagine Twilight will certainly be involved.   Personally I think SNL has been on the decline ever since Tina Fey left the lead writing spot.  The show certainly still has its moments but it’s not nearly as funny as it used to be.  The actors still get great post show gigs and the show still gets ratings but it’s a far cry from what it used to be.  Let’s hope that Stewart can spice things up a bit.

The Twilight alum will lord over Studio 8H to promote her ghost feature Personal Shopper when SNL returns on Feb. 4, NBC announced during this weekend’s telecast. “Scars To Your Beautiful” singer Alessia Cara will serve as the musical guest.
