Justin Trudeau Admits It’s Time to Punch Matthew Perry in the Face

Remember a couple weeks ago when Matthew Perry stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live and told him about the time he beat up Justin Trudeau when they were kids? Don’t worry, we have the clip. Back in 5th grade growing up in Ottawa, Canada, he and Trudeau went to the same school as children. Perry told Kimmel,

“I think he was the only kid in school that we could beat up,” he said, adding, “You know, I’m not bragging about this, this is terrible. I was a stupid kid, I didn’t want to beat him up. In fact, I think at one point I tried to turn it into love play.”

So yeah, here’ the clip.

It would appear that the Canadian Prime Minister has been having some serious thoughts about that embarrassing moment of his youth. Trudeau took to Twitter today to say, “I’ve been giving it some thought, and you know what, who hasn’t wanted to punch Chandler? How about a rematch Matthew Perry? Here’s the tweet:

There are two explanations for this tweet.  The first is that it’s April fools which is the likely explanation.  The other is that I’ll bet you a million dollars that Trudeau has just gotten around to seeing this clip now.  I’m pretty sure that Trudeau would murder Perry in a fight today but it’d still be fun to watch nonetheless.
