HBO is arguably the best television show network around right now. While many Netflix fans would disagree with that, it’s hard to argue against the incredible success of their one hour programming. Classics like The Wire, The Sopranos, Boardwalk Empire, Sex and the City, and plenty of others made the network a force to reckon with as well as driving tons and tons of revenue. Up until now if you wanted to catch these great shows all over again (or for the first time) all it would take is a few days and an Amazon account. However, it’s been announced that HBO is going to be pulling all of their shows from Amazon.
May 21st is the end of the contract between Amazon and HBO and reports from Vulture indicate that HBO has no interest in renewing the contract going forward. If you have to find a show to watch now, you can hold off on Curb Your Enthusiasm and Sex In The City as they appear to be staying on a bit longer after the contract expires. As far as the rest are concerned, you better get moving.
