[easyazon_link identifier=”B014FTPIS0″ locale=”US” tag=”tvovermind00a-20″]Chewbacca[/easyazon_link] has been a tremendous supporting character throughout the “[easyazon_link identifier=”B019EG1TC8″ locale=”US” tag=”tvovermind00a-20″]Star Wars[/easyazon_link]” series of films. He’s been the right hand Wookie for Harrison Ford’s Han Solo. Now that Solo is tone, he will no longer be the focal point. He’s in mourning for the loss because of the long and strong relationship with his beloved friend. They’ve been through a lot together throughout the years. His demeanor will not be quite as friendly and he’s going to have a new mission to go with his attitude. Han is gone, but Rey will be in his life. Solo took a liking to her and even offered her a job on the [easyazon_link identifier=”B00SOFZLOS” locale=”US” tag=”tvovermind00a-20″]Millennium Falcon[/easyazon_link]. She will change from a scavenger to a Jedi trainee heroine.
Chewbacca got Kylo
When Kylo Ren murdered his father, he took one step closer to a complete move to the dark side. Chewbacca was enraged and he fired his weapon at Kylo and the bowcaster hit him in the midsection of his body. It wasn’t a fatal blow and it left room for the two to meet again. We’re expecting to see the grieving wife, Leia and the mourning best friend meet and console one another. Carrie completed filming before her sad passing from this life. It seemed as though they were at odds in the previous film but the director explained that this was not the intention of the crew, it was simply an error in the process.
A connection in the force?
Since Rey an Leia are both strong in the force it would make sense that they could sense one another, but we dont know if they actually connect in the upcoming film. Do they know about one another and will they meet? This is one of the secrets that we really don’t want to know yet. If they were to meet, we’re sure that it would be Chewbacca bringing the two together. His focus will be on Rey instead of in protecting Han.
Suotamo will be the actor playing Chewbacca in the Han Solo Movie and Alden Ehrenreich will play the young Han Solo. This film is scheduled to be released towards the end of May of 2018. We’ll learn a lot more about Chewbacca’s story then. Returning to “The Last Jedi,” which will be released on December 15, 2017. This will be the second film for the new trilogy of the franchise. There will be another film coming out which will conclude the trilogy. There is no news when this will be released yet, but we’re sure that it will continue the new saga which has begun with “The Force Awakens.”
Chewbacca has been a key player in the “Star Wars” saga for many decades. With the upcoming new releases we will become more familiar with the character and get to know him in ways that we’ve never seen him before. The death of Han has changed him and he will be dedicated to his new mission, perhaps with an even greater fervor than he had showed in past segments.
