General Hospital Spoilers: Will Carly Hire Sonny’s New Lady Friend as her Attorney?

General Hospital fans are going to be excited when they hear what Carly is doing to Sonny. She’s ready for this divorce to be finalized, so she’s going to ask Diane to represent her in the divorce. Unfortunately, this won’t happen, so she’s going to go ask Alexis. We all know Alexis has some personal issues, and she’s already lost her license. She’s working on getting it back, but she doesn’t yet have it. This means she can’t do the work and represent her when she files for her divorce from Sonny. But she does have a recommendation for Carly. She knows of a new lawyer who came to town recently, and she’s happy to recommend her to Carly to represent her in her divorce.

Carly might not want to work with someone she’s not sure she knows right away, but she’ll open up to it. Imagine her shock when she finds out her new attorney is also the same woman who is about to become involved with Sonny next week. This is all going to begin going down this week as the recommendation is made, but it will become even more entertaining next week as she actually comes into town and everyone gets to meet her. It’ll be a great situation for us to watch unfold, but Carly isn’t going to like it. Will she continue to work with this woman just to spite Sonny, or will she work to find a new attorney to represent her?

It can’t be a good practice to be the attorney of a woman who is divorcing a man you’re involved with, right? We aren’t lawyers, but we imagine this is a bad idea. We can’t wait to find out what happens, and we can’t wait even more to find out what might happen when Carly and Sonny realize what’s going on. We have a feeling they won’t find out right away, and this conflict of interest might take a few days to appear. While we wait for it, we know it will be good. The confusion and miscommunication is always our favorite.
