General Hospital: Why Does Anna Believe Valentin?

General Hospital fans know that whatever Valentin told Anna might be a little bit true, but it’s definitely not a lot true. Whatever he told her is something that he wanted to tell her, something that we think might send her off on the wrong track, and something that might not work out for anyone. And that’s what we all think. Valentin has never once been honest with anyone about anything — and why would he start now?

And that’s what has us so confused about Anna and her willing and quick acceptance of what he had to say. She is not someone who really does believe lies like this so quickly in the usual manner. She’s got something she can handle on her own, but she’s so quick to do things herself when it comes to believing in something that she was so certain she wouldn’t believe.

Valentin has this strange effect on her that makes her want to believe in him, but she’s never someone who can get him out of her mind. We think there is a good chance she has to figure out quickly that he is just not the kind of person that wants to help her. He wants to get what he wants and he wants her to believe what he wants, and that’s what his plan is. And that’s not something that is going to work well for her. What is going on with her, and how much of what he told her is even true?
