Maybe it’s where she felt the most comfortable. A lot of people would say stick close to what you know, so maybe that has something to do with it as well.

2. Fox News is giving her a late night news program.

This program will be coming as of Oct. 30th and will offer a recap of the day’s news and happenings in order to bring up to speed those folks that might not get to watch the news during their work day or miss out for some other reason.  Shannon will be heading this program and will remain on top of the Supreme Court news as well.

1. She joined Fox News in 2007.

After submitting audition tapes and meeting Brit Hume Shannon was eventually given a position at Fox News where she’s been ever since. She’s fully enjoyed her time there and feels that she’s had the privilege to work with the best and hardest working news team ever.
