Chloe Celeste Hosterman is an actress and singer who is better known by her stage name Dove Cameron. She was born in Seattle, Washington, on January 15, 1996. This actress is best-known for her role in ‘Liv and Maddie’, the Disney Channel teen sitcom. In this television series, she plays both title roles. She is also known ‘Descendants’, in which she plays Mal, the daughter of Maleficent. This was a role she reprised in July 2017 when ‘Descendants 2′ was released. 1. She Was Engaged to Ryan McCartan

Dove Cameron met and began dating Ryan McCartan in 2013. McCartan is a singer and an actor who had a role alongside Cameron in ‘Live & Maddie’. He also starred in ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s DO the Time Warp Again’, which was a 2016 television film shown on Fox. IN addition to his acting career, he is also one half of ‘The Girl and the Dreamcatcher’. In April 2016, Cameron and McCartan announced their engagement. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out between the couple and they called off their engagement in October 2016.

2. She Showed Acting Talent from a Young Age

There were already signs that Dove Cameron was set for great things from her childhood. She began acting lessons at the age of eight and performed with Bainbridge Performing Arts. She played a young Cosette in Bainbridge Performing Arts production of Les Misérables in 2007.While she was at high school, she sang in the Burbank High School National Championship Choir. By the time she left high school, she had already decided that she wanted to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

3. She Can Speak Fluent French

Cameron is linguistically very talented and can speak fluent French. She is of French descent and spent many years of her childhood living in France. A combination of lessons and the exposure to French-speaking people meant that she picked up the language quickly.

4. She Has Had Roles in Four Films

Although she is predominantly known for her roles in television, she has also had roles in four films. Her first film role was Liz Larson in the 2015 film ‘Barely Lethal’. In the same year, she played Beth in ‘R.L. Stine’s Monsterville: Cabinet of Souls’ which went direct-to-video. She was then in the 2018 film ‘Dumplin” in which she played the role of Bekah Cotter. Also in 2018, she provided the voice for the Ghost-Spider character in ‘Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors’.

5. She Has a Recurring Role in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D

In 2017, Dove Cameron confirmed that she had been given a recurring role in season 5 of ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’, although it was not immediately revealed which character she was playing. It was later announced that she was playing the role of Ruby. This character is the daughter of General Hale. She began playing this role in 2018 and is expected to initially appear in five episodes of this series. This television series is aired on ABC and was created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, and Maurissa Tancharoen.
