Days of Our Lives fans know there are so many things that work out for those in Salem, and so many that don’t. But, right now, we are shocked that there seems to be no logical explanation or answer to something that is very near and dear to our hearts. We don’t want to see Kate die. We don’t want to see Julie die, but we did just see the doctor inform Lani and Eli that Julie is to receive Kate’s heart, which means Kate is not going to live. Julie might make it through this, but there is no chance Kate can live once her heart actually goes to someone else. There is just no way, shape or form this can work. Our hearts hurt, and we don’t mean that as a pun. We are looking for something to happen that’s a little miraculous so that we can get more of what we want.
Jack and Dr. Shah are having a major moment, too. The doctor is back, and their fight over Jennifer is too much for us to handle. There is nothing going well for this family in the moment, and we cannot decide how they plan on getting through any of this. They have a lot going on with Eve being horrible to them, with Jennifer being missing, and now with the doctor being back in town (it’s not the same Dr. Shah you know from before though, the role has been recast and it’s a new face but the same doctor as you know and maybe love and maybe not). We are excited to see where this story goes, but we are afraid that it might not go the way that this couple needs it to go after all they’ve been through recently. Can they get a break?

Gabi is not a fan of her new mother-in-law. She was a lot happier when everyone thought Vivian was dead, including herself and her own husband. But, she’s alive and well and she’s back to make everyone miserable, and she’s forcing Gabi to keep a horrible, ugly, no good secret about something Vivian did that makes Gabi’s heart hurt. But, she wants to keep Stefan, so this is what she feels she has to do. She’s going to hear Vivian make a horrible comment, though, and it might just set her off. She’s going to over hear Vivian tell her son that he should have been with Eve, and that it’s not too late for him to get with her and ditch Gabi. He isn’t hearing it, of course, but we all know how much mothers can do to get their sons to do what they want, don’t we?
What will she do? It finally seemed like things were taking a happy turn for her, and then her mother-in-law comes back from the dead and starts to ruin her life. We suspect Gabi is going to be able to turn on her scheming mind once again, and we suspect she is going to do things that make her friends unhappy. We think she might just make her husband unhappy, too, but scheming to get Vivian arrested behind his back. He will probably find out what she is doing, though, and that will not make anyone happy in the least. Nothing about this is going to end well.
