Days of Our Lives fans are going to see something major happen today, and it’s not going to seem very well for Chloe. She’s being held captive by Mateo, and we all know that he has no intention of letting her go. She also knows she is by herself at this point after Theresa made a deal to do the devil’s work with Xander so she could go home and break up her sister and her ex before they have a chance to have a future together. Now Chloe is alone, and she’s terrified in a way she wasn’t before. Not that she wasn’t scared before, but now she’s even more terrified that she is alone and not with someone she recognizes.
Mateo is going to come in and share some fun news with Chloe. Well, he will consider it some fun news. She, on the other hand, will find it terrifying and upsetting. She will not learn anything that makes her feel good about her life and her chances of survival. What he shares with her is going to cause her to become more fearful than she’s been the entire time she’s been stuck here. And she is not happy about this news she’s facing. It’s scary and terrifying.
Mateo will take a great deal of pleasure in this, and we cannot help but wonder if there is a chance he is going to kill her. He seems to want to be with her more than he wants to kill her, but there is always a chance that he will decide he can just take her life and eliminate any possibility that she and Lucas can have a real future together. He will look for her — he is looking for her — but Mateo will make it quite clear to her he will not find her when he goes looking. He will tell her that Lucas stands no chance at making things right in her life. And that will scare her. Will she begin to fear for his life as well as her own life at this point in things?
