The Bachelor Spin-Off ‘Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After’ Ordered by Freeform

The Bachelor

It looks like Freeform will be getting its own Bachelor. The cable network has ordered a spin-off of the reality series titled Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After.

Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After will center on Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell, who got engaged at the end of the most recent season of The Bachelor. Per Freeform, the new show will follow the happy couple as they prepare to walk down the aisle and begin their brand-new life together while navigating the real world after the splendor of The Bachelor‘s exotic dates and fantasy suites has ended.”

Viewers will watch as Ben becomes more involved with politics, and as Lauren attempts to create her own identity following the events of the ABC series. Additionally, throughout the season, former Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants will appear on Ben and Lauren to give the couple advice about how to move forward after the craziness of the show and what life can be like post-Bachelor.

“Ben and Lauren are the biggest Bachelor couple of the last 10 years,” Karey Burke, Executive Vice President of Programming at Freeform, said in a statement. “Their romance captured everyone’s attention, and we are delighted to continue their story.”

Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After is slated to debut in October.

Will you be tuning into the spin-off to see what’s next for Ben and Lauren? Do you think they can carry a show on their own? Comment below and let us know.
