Does anyone remember the 1993 kids show entitled Mighty Morphin Power Rangers? In today’s TV world it would be pretty cool but back then it was ahead of its time. The show would mix in footage from a Japanese show called KyÅryÅ« Sentai JÅ«renjÄ with new live action and dubbing. While the show took on a number of name and actor changes, the core principal and plot of the show always remained the same. One of the original rangers, the Pink Ranger AKA Kimberly Hart was played by actress Amy Jo Johnson.
Johnson had the roll for three full seasons and was also featured in two full length films for the franchise. Since Power Rangers Johnson’s seen much success on television landing parts in the shows Felicity, The Division, and Flashpoint. The now 46-year-old actress decided to celebrate the upcoming Power Rangers movie by created a special video on her Youtube channel.
She decided to surprise some of the new cast members. During a press junket in Toronto, she joined the fun by coming in as a reporter for The Daily Hive. Three of the Power Rangers actors got a huge shock as they recognized the next reporter to walk into the room as the original Pink Ranger. After hugs, Johnson sat down with the new Red Ranger Jason (Dacre Montgomery), Black Ranger Zack (Ludi Lin), and Pink Ranger Kimberly (Naomi Scott) and the interview began.
