General Hospital fans are sad. Yesterday was it for a long time. Well, for a solid week. While other soaps are still airing for the rest of this week, GH fans are not getting to see much more of the show while it’s on. They have to deal with the fact that they get nothing else for a solid week. This means that we can recap, and that’s all. So, to recap; this short week was packed with some serious business. We saw that Nina is under serious distress. Her life is a mess, and it always is. She cannot figure out a way to not have this kind of stress in her life. She cannot figure out what to do to get what she wants, and all she really wants in life is a happy family who loves her and wants to be with her. She wants to be a mother, and this is her chance to really find a way to make that happen. She’ a mess. Valentin is trying to help, but he can’t really do much for her.
Julian is on Brad’s side, and he’s all about making sure this man gets to keep this baby without feeling as if there is anything he needs to be guilty about. Oscar is visiting Sonny and asking him for some advice and speaking to him. Sonny is trying to figure out what to do with his wife, his son, his step-daughter, his father. He has so many choices to make, and none of them are good ones. He cannot get his situation under control. There is very little he can do at this point, and we just don’t know what to do about any of this. There’s a lot we want to say, but the show is done and over now.

We have to agree. This ManCrushMonday photo is a good one, and we do like a man in a suit. We also like a man in a uniform. We also like a man in a swimsuit. We also like a man in a polo. We like men in anything as long as they are perfectly hilarious, a little sarcastic, funny, and they are kind. That’s not too much to ask for, so we’re just going to leave that on the table as a reminder for those who are looking to be a bit more MCM themselves.

A lot has to happen that will make everyone feel better and their lives improve, but there is not much that anyone can do at this point. There is a problem with the way things are going, and there are decisions that need to be made. Unfortunately, fans are not getting to see anything happen for another week. Wednesday is going to be a repeat of an episode that was originally aired on January 26 of 2018. Thursday’s episode is a repeat of the January 29th show, and Friday is a repeat of the January 30th show. Monday is Labor Day, and fans are going to see a special tribute episode that was part of an encore episode. There’s no more to talk about until next Tuesday, and fans are devastated.
However, we can expect next week to bring new drama, new storylines, new problems, and new issues. We can see some problems clear up, we can see that Sonny might just make a decision about his father, and we can see that there will be more updates on people who are going through issues. Maybe Ava can feel herself out of the corner she’s been backed into. Perhaps Nina can find some relief, and perhaps there is a good chance that Kim can keep us up to date on what is going on with Nelle at this point. She’s gone, but we know that we will continue to hear more about her in the coming weeks because they have to keep this story updated and handled well.
