We’re currently into episode 3 of Legion’s second season, and we’re already hooked yet again. David Haller aka Legion is one enigmatic character, and FX is doing an incredible job continuing the story from last season. The problem with watching Legion is if you missed even one episode, you’ll pretty much be as confused as if you didn’t watch any of the episodes at all. In order to avoid this, you’ll simply have to keep up week after week. Don’t worry if you don’t have cable because there are other ways you can watch Legion and keep track of what’s unfolding in the story. Here are 4 ways you can watch Legion online.
Cable replacement service
There are services that offer you cable channels without subscribing to hundreds for the premium price. A cable replacement service will give you the channels that you want for a lot less money. Some of the most popular options include DirecTV Now, Sling TV, and PlayStation Vue. All of these options offer a basic package that includes the FX channel. For the basic packages, Vue charges the most at $40 a month, DirecTV Now is $35 a month, and you can get Sling TV for $25 a month.
Television a la carte
If you prefer to pay per episode, you do so through a la carte services. It can cost you more money in the end, but you’ll have access to the episodes forever if you wish. These services include Amazon, Google Play, and iTunes. If you use Apple devices, you obviously would have to use iTunes, and you can use Google Play for Android or Windows devices. You can use Amazon for either one, and it’s actually a good place to have all your shows organized as well. Most new episodes will cost anywhere from $2 to $4.
Through FX
You can also watch Legion online through the network itself. Although FX doesn’t have a standalone service, they do have a website and an app where you’ll have to log in through a cable provider to have access to. The app is called FX Now and the website is FXNow.com. If you have a family member or a friend who is willing to give you access to their cable username and password, then you should be good to go. Just go into the app or log in through the website, and you’ll be able to stream when you like.
Streaming service
Speaking of streaming services, these are often the best way to go, especially if you’re willing to wait. Netflix doesn’t stream Legion, so you’ll have to skip that one. Hulu happens to have Legion as one of their shows, and the great part is you don’t have to wait until the entire season is over to watch the episodes. Hulu has a premier package, Hulu Live, which allows you to watch live TV for $39.99 a month. It might be more expensive, but it’s absolutely worth it if you plan on tuning in for live shows.
