The anglicized version of Enya’s name is Enya Patricia Brennan. She was born to a musical family and was participating with her family’s band by 1980. Eventually she left to pursue a solo career and has been doing this ever since. Her music is a lot softer and has a decent range between folk and Celtic, and she’s even performed her songs in ten different languages. She might not be considered the favorite of those that want their music to move a bit quicker and carry a heavier punch, but Enya’s music is soft enough and powerful enough to soothe and calm the nerves and allow a person to reflect rather than just listen.
In times of great stress her voice is a very helpful balm to ease the mind.
5. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo-Orinico Flow
You can say it, this is a very messed up movie and it can prove as much just by the viewer watching this scene. Torture in any movie is hard to watch at times but thinking about what was going to happen before it was broken up is kind of brutal. I’ve heard tell the book was a lot better than the movie but it’s something that a person has to be into to really enjoy.
4. Enya-The Celts

Enya’s voice is so soothing that it’s easy to be lulled into a calm state of mind and kind of forget what you’re doing. She does tend to favor a more romantic era at times in her songs. This is kind of nice since it shows her heritage and obvious pride that she holds in her background. It’s inspiring when performers such as Enya cling to their history in such a way and share it with the world.
13. Masterminds-Only Time
Each special relationship is special largely because it’s got a fair share of ups and downs, positives and minuses, and works because each person in the relationship recognizes this. This movie was flat out ridiculous but at the very least the song was used to some good effect. It was pretty funny in spots, though Zach Galifinakis seems intent on being the guy that loves to go over the top on a regular basis.
2. NCIS-If I Could Be Where You Are
Those that watched the show knew that at one point or another this pairing would have to happen. There was simply too much tension between these two to allow anything else to happen in the show. They were constantly at each other’s throats about something and yet were always able to cover each other’s backs. It was kind of fated to be.
1. The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring-May It Be
It seems like a no-brainer to add Enya’s voice to this movie since it’s about an historical period, fictional, but still historical, and it features more than one occasion when her talents could be put to use. Fans were a little bit divided for a while when it came to the first movie but once the trilogy got rolling any voices of dissent were easily drowned out.
Enya is great to listen to when you just want to kick back and relax.
