The Top 10 Highest Paid WWE Wrestlers in 2017

While I don’t necessarily conjure up images of the broken down looking Mickey Rourke in the film The Wrestler, I have to say I was pretty shocked to learn what some of WWE’s top paid guys are earning.   When you see the movie The Wrestler, you think of broken down bodies, habitual drug users, and going from place to place and making money however you can.  You certainly don’t think of 8 figure incomes and fancy houses and cars.   But it turns out the top guys in the WWE make some serious bank.

And why shouldn’t they?  Wrestling is as popular as it’s ever been and the WWE is $1.67 billion company right now?  Why shouldn’t the wrestlers get paid accordingly?  They’re the ones who put the fans in their seats.  That said, it’s hard to imagine some of these guys making more than solid players in the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL.   Forbes recently came out with all the numbers and it looks like wrestling is definitely a business to look into.

Here are the 10 Highest Paid WWE Wrestlers In 2017
