The Cyberpunk 2077 spinoff anime will feature ten episodes. Although the game was a flop at first, the anime looks like some 90s anime style mixed with a slightly modern touch, which certainly added to our must-watch Netflix September 2022 releases.
Do Revenge – Netflix Movie
Do Revenge has a release date of September 16th and will be a Netflix original movie starring Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke. Camila Mendes of Riverdale, and Maya Hawke, of Stranger Things star as teenagers that attempt to kill each other’s bully. The film has been listed as a black comedy, so it should be incredibly entertaining, if not awful if you like that kind of not-so-very-well-done horror movie. Do Revenge has been an immediate addition to the watchlist, simply for the combination of Maya Hawke and Camila Mendes slightly out of their comfort zone of previous works.
Patton Oswalt: We All Scream – Netflix Stand-Up Special
Voice of Remy from Ratatouille, M.O.D.O.K., Matthew the Raven from The Sandman, and known comedian Patton Oswalt has yet another comedy special coming to Netflix in September 2022 on September 20th, Patton Oswalt: We All Scream. As the comedian has been doing stand-up since 1988 and moved to act and voice work, he always has something from across his varied journey to make audiences laugh when he returns to his proper form as a stand-up comic.
Dohmer (Monster: The Jeffrey Dohmer Story) – Netflix Limited Series
Ryan Murphy has cast Evan Peters to star in a limited series for Netflix, with a premiere date of September 21st. As Evan Peters has been known to do such an incredible job with his roles, especially under Murphy’s guidance, the series should be nothing short of spine-chilling. Ryan Murphy has been known for his incredible twisted work in shows like American Horror Story, American Horror Stories, 9-1-1, 9-1-1: Lone Star, American Crime Story, and others, so for him and Evan Peters to create a masterpiece on Netflix, it’s hard not to batten down for some thrills in September before Halloween.

Although not known for recorded stand-up specials, Nick Kroll has brought a lot to Netflix with Big Mouth and Human Resources. The highly-anticipated reboot of The Munsters from Rob Zombie has been given a release date of September 27th, which should help prepare fans for Halloween in just a few days, just enough time to watch the surprising PG-rated Rob Zombie adaptation.
