As technology continues to advance so do the ways in which people find to become famous it would seem since Alinity Divine is an online gamer that has found a great amount of fame through playing video games and charging people money for it. Don’t bother shaking your head or looking it up to make sure I’m telling the truth, as many people already know and can tell you that playing video games has become lucrative throughout the years. When you think about that you might wonder why you didn’t stay glued to your Nintendo or Sega or whatever system you utilized longer in order to take advantage of the changes as they happened, because quite honestly being a gamer can lead to serious cash if one knows how to do it. But then it also means spending a lot of time in front of a screen and not getting out that often.
Here are a few things about Alinity you might not have known.
10. She does have healthy following online.
Alinity has managed to amass a good number of followers and there are more reasons than just her gaming that have drawn them since she’s been seen to host a few different controversies in her life.
9. She ‘accidentally’ showed pornographic images and was suspended.
One might wonder how anyone can ‘accidentally’ share porn, but as Elizabeth Sloane from Heavy.com explains it Alinity was apparently being hosted for 1,700 viewers. The link she clicked took her to five porn sites, whereupon she clicked off and looked absolutely shocked. That’s how an accident can happen, trusting someone else online. She was still suspended for this.
8. Apparently she’s sold undergarments to a subscriber.
Honestly this one is confusing since it would seem that it was done a while back when she needed money and was doing anything to get paid so it’s hard to say whether or not it’s really scandalous in this day and since what we see online on an average basis seems to be a giant mix of normal and scandalous behavior.
7. She’s feuded with PewDiePie a few times.
Apparently she and PewDiePie really don’t get along all that well since the two of them have been going back and forth with one another for a while thanks to the idea that PewDiePie kind of started the fight. Since then it’s just been one round of ugliness after the other as the two have continued to go after one another without cease when they do speak.
6. She’s addressed her mental health disorders online.
It sounds as though gaming has saved her life since she suffers from bipolar disorder, anorexia, bulimia, and depression. That sounds like a full bill for anyone to deal with and in a big way it does sound as though gaming has managed to help her deal with those issues, though she did thankfully visit a doctor and was prescribed medication to help her out when things get rough.
5. She does sponsored gaming streams that can earn her up to $1,000 per hour.
This almost makes it seem that a lot of us have been in the wrong profession for a long time now, but one also has to remember that in order to get to this point one has to be at least somewhat of a gamer and able to entertain and inspire others to earn this kind of money.
4. It sounds as though she was investigated for throwing her cat during a streaming video.
Cody Gravelle from ScreenRant and many others have covered this as the video in question shows her tossing her cat, Milo, up and over her head with both hands no less. In terms of abuse it might be called that if she’d slung the cat around by the tail. Instead it looks as though she picked the cat up and deposited the feline over her head and chair to land on all four feet behind her. In other words it’s something that many of those with cats have likely done at least once or twice in their lives, meaning PETA and those who were ‘shocked and offended’ by it need to seriously keep their noses pointed away from other peoples’ business.
3. Her gaming streams are pretty much the origin of her fame.
Those of us that grew up in the 80s and 90s might not fully understand the complete allure of sitting in front of a game for hours on end, but to each their own and all that. She makes her money with gaming and has become famous in the process so hey, it works.
2. She did pursue a nursing degree.
You can’t say that she’s done nothing with her life since Alinity did manage to get out to school for a while and at least tried to pursue something that would take her beyond the console. Whether she’s done anything with it is hard to tell.

An old-school thinker would likely claim that she’s wasted her life on games at this point, but anyone else might be inclined to think that she’s doing what she wants, which is the right of any individual.
