Young and the Restless fans know that Abby isn’t accustomed to hearing no for an answer. She’s a Newman, and that means she’s getting all she wants out of life no matter what she does. She and Zack are working together, and they are doing a good job of it despite butting heads so often. They seem to have formed an attraction to one another, but we wonder if there is a chance she’s feeling it a bit more than he. When she invites him to a party, it’s her assumption he’s going to accept her invitation with open arms and appreciation.
When he says no to her without even an ounce of hesitation, she’s going to be very upset. There is no chance she is going to accept rejection when she wants something, and it’s going to throw her. Zack tells her no because he doesn’t want to go to a party where there is a bunch of Newman people around, and that means she might not have a chance with him at all. After all, they’re her family.
Will she be able to change his mind, or will this make her fall even harder for him as he rejects her? He might have some ulterior motives at hand here, and we can’t imagine that it’s going to turn out well for her if he plans on taking her in this own way and time. She’s a girl who gets yes for an answer; hearing no doesn’t go over well.
