Young and the Restless fans know a thing or two about story lines that don’t work. We see them all the time, and it is certainly not a new situation. Fans of the show have been around for so many decades, and it’s impossible not to dislike a few things over the years. Perfection is not going to happen at all, so we get that there will be some stories that work, some that don’t, and some that make little sense in the grand scheme of things. But, we do know that there are always going to be things that work for us a little more. Unfortunately, we are here to talk about the things we are tired of seeing. We are tired of these story lines. We are tired of seeing the same thing happen over and over. These stories annoy us so much that we cannot even handle what is going on in the world.
Abby’s Lack of Love Life
Abby is a young woman who is beautiful and smart. She’s funny and she is sweet, and she wants nothing more than to have a family who loves her. She had a family who tolerated her on most occasions growing up, and she wants so much more than that. We love that about her, too. We love that she has bigger dreams and goals and realities to face. We love that she has so much to look forward to and that she loves so much and so hard. We love that she has so many things going for her in her life. What we do not love is that no one seems to see that from her. No one seems to want to be there for her to help her, to give to her, to be with her. No one, and we are so tired of that. They keep giving her horrible men who do nothing and bring nothing to the table for her. Can she get a little something good for her, for once, please? That’s all we are asking for, and we don’t even feel like it’s a lot.
Sharon’s Constant Love Triangle
She’s a mess. That’s all there is to it. She is a mess, and she is a hot mess. She is always finding herself committed to one man, sleeping with another, lying to all of them, and thinking about another. She has gotten to a point in her life where she seems to need three men at all times. One to be with in public, one to be with in private, and one to keep on the backburner in case something happens and things don’t go her way. Can we please just say how over it we all are? She needs more to her life than just this, and other people need more to their life than she has to offer. Can we get her a man to love forever, or can we just see her alone for a moment? She’s lost a lot, and we don’t think she’s quite in the right place for this kind of thing right now. We want to see more from her, for her, and about her, please.
Adam’s Anger
We thought that he might be a different person when he came back from the dead, but we were wrong about that. We were a little bit over his anger issues and his hatred of his family and all the things he felt didn’t go his way. We like to call it childishness, to be honest, and we thought it was enough back then. We thought he was done with this life of this. We thought he was over this. We thought he was someone who might just have something else to say or do with this life when he was given a second chance to come back and to make the world a better place. We thought he had more in him than this, and we cannot handle this. We cannot stand what is happening. We cannot stand what is going on in his life. We wanted more from him, and we were more than a little disappointed when this is what we got from him.
